Madonna and Guy 'happy' with deal

Madonna and Guy Ritchie are both 'happy' with their divorce agreement, they have said in a joint statement issued by Ritchie's publicist.
But an earlier statement released to the press suggesting the singer paid Ritchie £50m was 'misleading and inaccurate', they added.
The Associated Press news agency had quoted Madonna's US spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg on Monday.
The new statement said settlement details would 'remain private'.
Ms Rosenberg had told AP on Monday that Ritchie had been given £50-&#pound;60m ($76m-$92m) and that the figure included the value of the couple's Ashcombe House estate, on the Wiltshire/Dorset border.
Custody of the couple's children had yet to be worked out, she added.
She told AP: 'I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce.'
But in the new statement released by Ritchie's representatives on Wednesday, the couple said: 'We have tried to maintain a dignified silence regarding the details of our divorce for the last few months whilst accepting the obvious media interest.'
'A misleading and inaccurate statement, specifically in relation to the sums of money involved, was wrongly issued to AP this week.'
'The financial details of the settlement will remain private, save to say that both of us are happy with our agreement.'
Their primary concern was 'the care and wellbeing of our children', it added.
A London representative of Madonna confirmed to BBC news that it was a joint statement.

Another photoshoot in Brazil?

Fellow fansite MadonnaOnline Brasil are reporting that Madonna will do a exclusive photoshoot in Brazil with Steven Klein for W magazine.

The photos will be taken on Tuesday 16 and Wednesday 17 December in Rio de Janeiro with some 'athletic' models with long hair. The art direction will be by Giovanni Bianco.

Madonna and Guy Ritchie Reach Divorce Settlement

Madonna has reached a divorce settlement with Guy Ritchie, according to the singer's rep.
The pop star will pay her ex between $76 million and $92 million, her spokeswoman Liz Rosenberg tells the Associated Press.
Rosenberg says the figure includes the value of their country home Ashcombe, in western England, as well as the couple's London pub, the Punchbowl.
'I'd assume it's one of the largest payouts ever in a divorce settlement,' Rosenberg told the AP.
While the financial details of the settlement have been ironed out, Madonna, 50, and Ritchie, 40, are still finalizing custodial arrangements for their children.
Madonna filed for divorce citing Ritchie's 'unreasonable behavior' as a cause. The two were granted a preliminary 'quickie divorce' on Nov. 21 in the High Court of London.
Ritchie's rep declined to comment to the AP.
As for reports that the couple plan to spend Christmas together, Madonna's rep tells PEOPLE that is not true.

Madonna to get Brazil 'Sticky & Sweet' as tour wraps up

US pop star Madonna arrived in Brazil Friday ahead of the final concerts of her worldwide 'Sticky & Sweet Tour' that showed that, at age 50, she can still sell out top-notch venues.
The entertainer, who is undergoing divorce proceedings from her British filmmaker husband Guy Ritchie, landed in Rio de Janeiro where she was met by a security detail that whisked her to a five-star Copacabana beach hotel.
She is to perform two concerts in Rio, on Sunday and Monday, before going to Brazil's biggest city of Sao Paulo for gigs next week on December 18, 20 and 21.
The concerts are the last in her four-month tour across Europe, North America and Latin America, which kicked off August 23 in Wales, Britain.
In all she will have played 58 shows that raked in more than 200 million dollars, according to Billboard magazine.

Chilean cardinal: Madonna rouses 'impure thoughts'

Madonna is causing 'crazy enthusiasm' and 'impure thoughts' on her first concert visit to Chile, a prominent retired cardinal complained on Wednesday, as he paused in a tribute to a late dictator to denounce the pop star.
Roman Catholic Cardinal Jorge Medina criticized the flamboyant singer during his homily at a Mass in honor of the late dictator Augusto Pinochet, who oversaw the deaths of some 3,200 dissidents during his 1973-1990 rule.
'This woman comes here and in an incredibly shameless manner, she provokes a crazy enthusiasm, an enthusiasm of lust, lustful thoughts, impure thoughts,' said Medina, the cardinal who was chosen to announce the election of Pope Benedict XV.
Hundreds of fans spent three days camping outside the National Stadium in Santiago to get good spots for Wednesday's concert, the first of two. About 60,000 people were expected at each performance.
One of those waiting in line, Roberto Lopez, told local reporters that he had quit his job in the southern city of Punta Arenas because his boss hadn't given him time off to attend the concert.

Police allow Madonna fans to sleep outside of National Stadium

Changing their initial position on the matter, police have given authorization today for Madonna fans to sleep outside of the National Stadium, where the queen of pop will give two concerts on December 10 and 11.
Colonel of Police Special Forces Jorge Fernández announced this measure after the musician's followers had previously been prohibited from camping in the area.
To accommodate the crowd, the avenue of Maratón which is parallel to the stadium has been equipped with port-a-potties and ambulances, and in order to get in the fans must first present their ticket to one of the concerts.
A 31 year-old psychologist from the city of Antofagasta was the first one to arrive to the special area early yesterday morning, after which other fan club members began to arrive and set up.
By Monday evening, some 60 people were already in line to get into the stadium, but later that night police evacuated them for not having a camping permit.

Madonna in wedding photos dispute

Singer Madonna is seeking more than £5m in damages from the Mail on Sunday for publishing photos of her 2000 wedding to film director Guy Ritchie.
A judge in London heard pictures of the event were copied 'surreptitiously' by an interior designer during work at her home in Beverly Hills, California.
The Mail on Sunday published 11 photos of the event on 19 October this year.
The judge found in Madonna's favour after the newspaper admitted breach of privacy and copyright.
According to Madonna's barrister Matthew Nicklin, the Mail on Sunday 'makes no attempt to defend what it did'.
The paper paid £5,000 for the images of the 'wholly private' event, held on 22 December 2000 at Skibo Castle in Scotland.
Lawyers for Associated Newspapers, which owns of the Daily Mail and the Mail on Sunday, could not be reached for comment.
Mr Nicklin said the singer was effectively 'ambushed', having been given no prior warning that the paper was intending to publish the photographs.
'If the Mail on Sunday had told her what they intended to do, the claimant would have sought and obtained an injunction.'
Madonna, who was divorced from Guy Ritchie earlier this year, is seeking 'in excess of £5 million, being the estimated value of the photographs'.
Mr Justice Eady has entered judgment in Madonna's favour on the issue of liability.
Further proceedings to assess the damages are expected to be heard at the High Court next year.
