Is Madonna heading to Eurovision?

Rumours are flying that Madonna might be the interval act at Eurovision in Israel this year.

There are reports that organisers are working with Madonna’s representatives to sign the singer for a two song appearance for a rumoured paycheck $1 million.

The singer has been working on a new album, which sees her reteamed with French producer Mirwais who worked on her Music album that was released in 2000. Madonna’s last album was 2014’s Rebel Heart.

So far only one new song has been heard, Madonna debuted a new tune when she performed at New York’s Met Gala in 2018. Eurovision would be a huge television audience for Madonna to reveal a new tune to.

Website YNet is reporting that Canadian-Israeli billionaire Sylvan Adams will foot the bill for Madonna to attend, because he wants this years Eurovision to be one of the most memorable.

There have been calls for the singing competition to be boycotted because it is being held in Israel. Madonna has performed in the country several times in the past.

Justin Timberlake performed at Eurovision 2017 in Stockholm, although he later admitted he didn’t know anything about the singing competition.

Madonna for Dolce & Gabbana menswear?

Oh come on! She’s not that muscular! News reaches Grazia that Madonna is to star in the new Dolce & Gabbana campaign. So far, so cool....only apparently it’s Dolce’s menswear label. It’s not clear if Madonna will be dragging up, although in the past she has looked fierce in some of their androgynous pin-striped trousers suits. Thing is, we can’t really imagine Madge (yes, we know she hates that name now) settling for just being some male model’s arm-candy....unless that model happens to be her toy-boyfriend Jesus Luz, of course. Could we be looking at Mr Luz’s first major campaign?

Madonna laughs off pub rumours

Madonna has laughed off reports she and husband Guy Ritchie have invested $5 million in their own London pub.
It was claimed the couple had bought The Punchbowl near their home in London's Mayfair from their friend Greg Foreman, with Foreman's former gangster father even confirming the sale. But the pop superstar's representative insists she and Ritchie are content to visit the pub as regular customers.
Liz Rosenberg tells PageSix.com, '(It's) pure fiction. I know Mr. and Mrs. Ritchie enjoy their pub visits but they don't own one.'

Rumours: Madonna for the Superbowl?

Madonna and Paula Abdul could perform live in Fox's Super Bowl telecast on February 3, as part of the pregame musical festivities, according to rumours by some Internet sites.
The network already announced that Tom Petty is headlining the halftime show, but it also added that other guests could be added as the date nears.
The sources said Abdul is rehearsing a music video for a duet with fellow American Idol judge Randy Jackson, which will be the first single off Jackson's upcoming album, Music Club Vol. 1, and that if she does agree to perform at the Super Bowl, Abdul would likely incorporate choreography from that video in her Super Bowl act.
As to Madonna, it is said she plans to debut her new single, '4 Minutes to Save the World,' from her highly anticipated upcoming album, which features Justin Timberlake and Timbaland.
In 1999, the Queen of Pop was supposed to premiere her version of Don McLean's classic 'American Pie,' but her busy schedule forced her to cancel her performance. 'I am sorry that I will not be able to join all the great entertainers who will be performing on Super Bowl Sunday. My sincere apologies to the NFL, ABC-TV, as well as my fans. I look forward to the possibility of doing something with the NFL in the future,' stated Madonna at that time.
