Last two shows in Paris are cancelled due to coronavirus

And so the Madame X Tour comes to a sad end. Madonna.com have just announced that the last two shows on Tuesday 10th and Wednesday 11th March have now been cancelled due to French action on Coronavirus:

Following official notification from the Office of the Police this morning prohibiting all events with an audience attendance of over 1000, Live Nation regrets to announce the final two Madame X performances previously re-scheduled to 10-March and 11-March are forced to be cancelled.

Tickets are refundable at point of purchase.

We regret the disappointment to fans.

@Robin: As much as I loved the Madame X show (even if it was only the short version I saw, despite paying a full ticket price), I will definitely never pay to go and see M again. She is too much of a risk to your finances! Unlike M, I don't have millions in the bank... Plus her attitude utterly sucks.

Robin

Will any madonnalicious readers go see her again? I’ll forgive her but I haven’t decided if I’ll giver her my money again 💔#heartbrokenFan

I watched Madame X in SF in November before Madame X was injured. She was just lovely and energetic and fantastic. Went to London to watch her again, on a shorter performance and her very last show in London. She was equally energetic and charming. Her voice sounded the best in these small venues. It is sad to have the last 2 shows cancelled, but glad that our queen can take some good rest and hopefully she will tour and make new music soon

A sadly suitable ending to a tour that appeared to have been jinxed from a very early stage. I wonder how Madonna herself will look back on it?

Matthew

Bet Madonna will glad to get home and flop around in in her dressing gown and fluffy slippers, should she possess a pair.

Tracey

Although Madonna cannot be blamed for these two cancellations, what an utter disaster Madame X has been! Will she ever tour again? More importantly, would anyone ever risk buying a (high-priced) ticket again...?
