Madonna and Guy Ritchie ‘locked in legal clash just days before Christmas’

Madonna and Guy Ritchie have reportedly become embroiled in a legal clash just days before Christmas. Director Guy, 51, has allegedly filed a motion in their divorce case asking for the ‘enforcement or execution of a judgement or order’. The motion was put forward on 23 December, according to DailyMail.com. The timing may suggest that the exes have disagreed over where some of Madonna’s six children should be spending the festive period. Judge Deborah Kaplan has allegedly not made a decision yet on the case brought to Manhattan Supreme Court – which is said to deal with disputes over children.

Madonna, 61, and Guy have a son Rocco, 19, together. The former couple - who divorced in 2008 - waged a public custody battle over Rocco, which ended in 2016 with Rocco being allowed to live in London with Guy. The pop songstress and filmmaker previously clashed over where Rocco would spend Christmas in 2015.

Rocco - who was 15 at the time - ended up staying with Guy, but Judge Kaplan ruled that he had to return to America some time before starting school. Madonna, 52, has six children. During her eight-year marriage to Guy, Madonna adopted David Banda, 14, from Malawi. David has recently been spending time with Guy in the UK. The Material Girl singer has four other children: Lourdes, 23, Mercy James, 13, who was adopted from Malawi, as were twins Stella and Estere, seven. Guy married Jacqui Ainsley in 2015 and they have three children together.
