Madonna tops the list of most influential women EVER
Sunday, 15 June 2014
The head of the Commonwealth nations and the Mother of Christ, could not match the Queen of pop for clout according to a new analysis of online information database Wikipedia.
The study, which examined Wikipedia links, was conducted by Young Ho Eom at the University of Toulouse in France.
He applied Google PageRank algorithm which is used to determine how important webpages are and applied that to people, using Wikipedia to produce a list of history’s most influential. The analysis, which counts both incoming and outgoing links connected to the person online.
The list of influential females:
1.Madonna
2. Queen Elizabeth II
3. Mary Mother of Jesus
4. Queen Victoria
5. Agatha Christie
6. Mariah Carey
7. Britney Spears
8. Margaret Thatcher
9. Martina Navratilova
10. Elizabeth the 1st
You just know this list is a crock of $h!t when you see names like Mariah and Britney in it, yet names like Marie Curie and Florence Nightingale and Ameila Earhart absent.
Using the cod statistical methodology that Young Ho Eom clearly has employed, I am amazed that every single one of the odious and pointless Kardashians did not populate the entire Top 10.
