'What am I going to do now? When I need an apple tart?'

Madonna, Jay Z and Justin not joining boycott

Jay Z, Madonna and Justin Timberlake's representatives deny the stars are boycotting Florida law by refusing to perform in the state.
Stevie Wonder announced his decision to protest the state's controversial Stand Your Ground Law by taking the unique stance earlier this month.
The legislation is blamed by critics for causing upset in the acquittal of accused murderer George Zimmerman.
The 29-year-old was recently cleared of all charges in the shooting death of an unarmed teenager, Trayvon Martin, whom Zimmerman gunned down on the teen's walk home in Sanford, Florida last year.
Recent reports suggested Jay, Madonna, Justin, as well as Kanye West, The Rolling Stones, Rod Stewart, Usher and Rihanna, had joined Stevie in the fight by refusing to play in the state until the law is abolished.
The list of stars supporting the Superstition hitmaker was initially published by the American Urban Radio Networks.
However, representatives for the aforementioned trio insist the reports are baseless.
'I don't know where this list came from,' one representative told Variety.
Stevie announced his efforts while performing in Quebec City last week.
'I decided today that until the Stand Your Ground law is abolished in Florida, I will never perform there again,' he proclaimed.
'As a matter of fact, wherever I find that law exists, I will not perform in that state or in that part of the world.'
A spokesperson for the hitmaker has yet to offer further comment on the boycott.

I agree...Madonna has a big market in the state of Florida... when she tours..what the the matter with her.. she won't stand her ground.. for instance. ( Los Angeles for people who sleep) She cut that out during her confessions tour run in L.A. also (just go to Texas isn't that were they golf) also cut out when confession tour in Houston..but boldly shouted it out before and after these great cities...I love Madonna been a supportive fan since I was 6 yrs old. Let's be real here Madonna is the MOST cut throat fame driven cold vein shrewed business woman and I love her for that.....So all this revolution of love does NOT seem sincere coming from her... seems like she is following not leading....

@THE QUEEN- Well said! This a wonderful private website & hacking is just plain wrong!

They both should have walked away and kept going but what you absolutely cannot do under any circumstance is attack someone unprovoked for merely following you.

This blog is a private institution and therefore Madonnalicious has the right to make judgements on what to post in terms of content and comments. I myself have had comments not posted. Making a comment about "maybe that's why you get hacked" is infantile. Hacking is a crime and as a result someone's rights and property was violated.

Go to your room. Tricks are for kids.

Madonna is a revolutionist. I'm sure she's just has gutted by the tragedy as many in America. In the end justice will always be served, whether in this life or the next.

R.I.P. Trayvon Martin.

Byron Monte

You know what David, essentially that is exactly what happened there. Profiled, followed when told not to...and gunned down. Sorry bro, the hard truth.

How nice of you to only approve the opinions that make you comfortable on a topic. Maybe that's why you get hacked. Madonna doesn't even have balls and hers are way bigger.

Easy for Madonna to boycott performing in Florida, she's not on tour. We'll see if she "stands her ground" on this when she does tour again hopefully in 2014? I don't see the SYG law being overturned anytime soon, unfortunately.

"whom Zimmerman gunned down on the teen's walk home in Sanford, Florida last year"

You make it sound like Zimmerman just pulled a gun on Martin and shot him dead for no reason at all! By all accounts that did not happen. I'd seriously reconsider rephrasing that.
