It's a shame that Madonna doesn't express her valid & interesting point/s of view through her music. If only Madonna would pour her passion into her lyrics & songs then her music would resonate again!
@bristar- I totally agree with your sentiments regarding Cyndi Lauper's wonderful dance album "Bring Ya To The Brink"(Fav Track 'Echo')! Until now I thought I was the only person that owned Lauper's Brink CD, it's that overlooked!! I don't know why. :)

Maybe she had a lemon drop or two before going on stage? ;) Great speech, btw.

Cyndi Lauper's "Bring Ya To The Brink" album was criminally overlooked, in a commercial sense!

The hair and hat reminds me of Evita.

Thank you for posting this YouTube clip of Madonna's speech. I viewed one last night that someone had posted from way back in the venue. Glad to be able to see her expressions while she's speaking. I think that she had a a great speech and enjoyed seeing her dressed up as a Boy Scout. :-D
Yes, Madonna. I will join you in your revolution.
LONG LIVE THE QUEEN of POP!

all jokes aside - in its heart it's a beautiful speech - so sad & true..

now, if only the f..ing media would dare to care of more than her outfit hoop-la....

G! Madonna is inspiring... I'm not gay, but I would have loved to be a friend of hers.

Both Cyndi Lauper and Madonna are LGBT advocates. Love them both!!
