I really like the 'GMAYL' single and it works well in concert too. The negative reaction (and in some cases, no reation) to this single is puzzling, when it leaked on the net the song received almost universal praise, and then it all went pear shaped upon release. The song is a slice of joyous pop music with a 60's/ Beautiful Stranger vibe, and the video is fun too. Released around the time of Madonna's terrific Superbowl performance I would have thought this promotion would have guaranteed success. The 3 MDNA singles are great, & I'm amazed that all 3 singles failed on the charts. It appears that future of the 'single' is dying- few big name artists have hit singles anymore, and less are being released. It's a shame for collectors like me, and I'm sure there must be other collectors of physical music releases out there- you would think that record companies would still release CD Maxi-singles at least in limited quantities for this niche market.
