Desperately Seeking Susan in Los Angeles

madonnalicious reader Thomas attended the outdoor screening of Desperately Seeking Susan in Los Angeles on Saturday night and some pictures to share with fans.

Director Susan Seidelman attended the screening and brought along the iconic case that was featured in the film. Rosanna Arquette was also present at the screening.

It was such a beautiful night. I was just a teen in love when the film came out, but was unable to see it. So attending the reunion was a way for me to make up for some of my lost childhood. The people who did show up were amazing. It was my first time seeing Arquette. But it was an absolutely beautiful night. After watching the first 1/2 hour of the film on the outdoor inflatable screen, I decided to walk the streets of downtown LA instead. It was great since I moved away a few years later after having lived over 30 years in LA. I will never forget that perfect Los Angeles summer evening just walking downtown LA alone.

I whish I was there. That case brings back so much memeories. I loved the scene when Susan stepped out of that bus, and when Roberta opened the case; she looked as if she had found a new world.
