Glee: Sue Sylvester's Vogue video to premiere tonight

The world premiere of Sue Sylvester's (Jane Lynch) 'Vogue' video will air during the spring premiere of Glee tonight, Tuesday 13 April (9:28-10:30 PM ET/PT) following American Idol on FOX. The three-minute video premiere, will debut one week before it airs as part of 'The Power of Madonna' episode on Tuesday 20 April 20 (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT). Sure to be a fan favorite, GLEE’s 'Vogue' features Sue, Kurt (Chris Colfer) and Mercedes (Amber Riley) in an homage to Madonna with a brilliant shot-by-shot re-creation of the groundbreaking music video.

In 'The Power of Madonna' episode, airing Tuesday 20 April (9:00-10:00 PM ET/PT), Mr. Schuester is concerned that the girls in the glee club are being disrespected and bullied by the male members. Looking to Madonna and her musical message of equality as inspiration, he challenges the entire team to choose Madonna songs as their next assignment in the hopes that the girls embrace Madonna’s strength, independence and confidence so that the guys will see the errors of their misogynistic ways.
The glee club takes the assignment to heart and performs some of the Material Girl’s greatest hits, including 'Express Yourself' and 'Like a Prayer.' Meanwhile, Kurt and Mercedes give Sue a vote of confidence with a Madonna makeover that is definitely in 'Vogue.'

Madonna has built a legacy that needs to be honored, remembered and known by new generations. What is doing Lady Gaga now is the logical consecuence of what Madonna did in the 80's and 90´s, I mean rocking the world...good to know she is being honored witht this becoming video of Vogue. I saw it, btw and it´s awesome and respectful.

I'm excited I think this is a great way to get the American people to remember how great Madonna is. A lot of kids my age (16,17) claim to have never even heard a Madonna song in their life D= I think it's terrible.
