Glee: Madonna sequel in the works

Glee is heading back into the groove with Madonna. The afterglow from last night’s smashing (and highly rated) Madge-themed episode has barely dimmed and already series creator Ryan Murphy is talking to the Material Girl about a sequel!
Murphy confirms that he’s in discussions with M’s camp and that 'Madonna and her people are into it and want it to happen.' The follow-up would air early next season and feature six more songs from the pop icon’s immense catalog of hits. (There’s talk that fans might be able to vote on which tracks should be used via a poll on Fox.com.)
The Glee-Madonna marriage has already reaped huge dividends for both the show and the star. Tuesday’s episode attracted a potent 13.5 million viewers, down just 5 percent from last week’s record-setting spring premiere. Additionally, the soundtrack from the ep is currently No. 1 on iTunes, and two of the singles are in the top 20.
The power of Madonna indeed.

They seemed to focus more on her late 80s/early 90s hits in this past episode, so we should look at mostly songs not from that time period lol. Absolutley LOVE that mashup, hope they do another, but not sure what....
3 big powerhouse hits they should do:
"Ray of Light" "Music" "Hung Up"
Sue DEFINETLY needs to sing "Human Nature" :P
"Into the Groove" is another big one, but I bet would be good for a mashup.(Maybe with "Music")
"Dress You Up" a good old classic along with either "Lucky Star" or "Burning Up"
And as something I would love to see that probably won't be done, "Nothing Really Matters"

Marco

Hung Up
Holiday
Frozen
Sorry
Into The Groove
Crazy For you
Papa Don't Preach
Ray Of Light
Music

vanka

Mashup songs seems to be the smartest idea to get more hits:
Holiday/Celebration
Oh Father/Live to tell
La isla bonita/Who's that girl (to know more about Santana)...

Puck is the one character that at the end of the episode still wasn't into M, so this time he should be leading one cool song, Revolver maybe?

Human Nature belogs to Sue Silverster, haha.

Music
Burning Up
You must love me
Hung Up

So many songs, endless possibilities!

tom Swider

Ray of Light

@Jason, in a previous episode the character who is in fact pregnant did Papa Don't Preach (this isn't the first time ole Madge has been performed on Glee!). I love everyone's suggestions. I would love to see another Madonna episode. And good for her making bank on this.

Dj Rye Pye

Jason

I think the coach Sue Sylvester should show a softer side and sing This Used to be my Playground while reflecting back on her younger years in the sports team etc.

Into the Groove would be a great number for the younger ones to sing and dance to.

Maybe incorporate a teen pregnancy next season and include Papa Dont Preach.

Don't Tell Me would be great.

Take A Bow or Live to Tell.

Human nature or Secret.

j.v.

crazy for you - finn & rachel
human nature - sue syvester
material girl - rachel, quinn and the cherrios
hung up - quinn
cherish - glee cast
dress you up - kurt hummel
holiday/music mashup the glee cast

Norma

Do more than 2 episodes. There are too many to list. there are 66 videos. So why not 66 songs from those videos. I'm surprised they have said Madonna-themed episodes for a season.

Imagine.

jorgito

Bye Bye Baby
Deeper and Deeper
Live To Tell
Take A Bow
Rain
Keep It Together
Into The Groove
Give It 2 Me
Crazy For You

Tomy

I think we are all in unison- Rachel singing Crazy for You, maybe at homecoming or something? I really wish Kurt wasn't already out to his dad, that would be a great "Live to Tell" moment...
