Madonna makes surprise appearance at Britney show
Thursday, 12 March 2009
Shortly before Spears, 27, took the stage at the Nassau Coliseum on Long Island, Madonna, 50, arrived with her manager Guy Oseary (and several bodyguards) and headed to one of the VIP suites.
'She purposely walked up the main stairs in front of everybody so they would all notice her,' an insider told Usmagazine.com. 'Celebrities definitely don't need to go up the main stairs to get to their suites.'
During the 90-minute show, Spears gyrated her way through mostly tunes from her last two albums, Circus and Blackout.
Madonna left right before Spears' encore of 'Womanizer.'
As hordes of screaming fans gathered around her, Madonna had a little smirk on her face.
'Britney was thrilled to have her there!' read a message on Spears' Web site.

jojo - each to their own opinion. I happen think Hard Candy is M's worst album ever with, imho, only one decent track.

Blackout only has a few nice tracks, hard candy doesn't really have any bad tracks (4 minutes is kind of lame, but still above average). What is hard for people to get is that, for better or for worse, hard candy ended up being a Madonna pop record, not the promised R&B thing (except for 4 minutes and candy shop, coincidentally, not the best tracks)

pleeeease blackout is Britney's worse album! wake up! there are only 3 songs that are worth it..the ones we all know ...the rest is crap...but hard candy is a great album, at least 9 very good songs!

I always believe that 'Blackout' is the album that 'Hard Candy' should've been...
