Presented by Queer Screen and Ppart of the Mardi Gras Film Festival, the film will be shown at the Fleets Streps, Mrs Macquarie’s Chair, on Wednesday, February 24, at 8pm.
The screening will mark the 25th anniversary of the groundbreaking film, which paved the way for concert documentaries for years to come.
The intimate, all-access film - titled 'Truth or Dare' in the US - follows Madonna and her dancers during the singer’s 1990 Blonde Ambition tour. From her health troubles as she loses her voice on tour, through a difficult return to her home town of Detroit, and tensions with then-partner Warren Beatty, it’s a rare insight into one of the world’s most private celebrities.
