'MDNA' certified Gold in Japan

The Recording Industry Association of Japan (or 'RIAJ') has just released their hard copy sales certifications for the month of March.

Madonna's 'MDNA' was the only non-Japanese music album to be certified Gold.

This certification is based on the total numbers of CDs sold to retailers - a Gold award is handed out by the RIAJ for 100,000 units sold.
