What a show, I wonder if schoolgirl cheerleader Madonna ever imagined she would be cheerleading the halftime show at the Super Bowl?

I just wanted to say I have always been a huge fan of Madonna's. To date me further, I will say I grew up to her music. Her half-time show last night was beyond AWESOME!!! Minus M.I.A, of course! So, thank you, Madonna!!! You've never impressed me more =) Love and Peace!!!

"ER what is with the Kylie Minogue comparisons? People need to get their European history sorted!!!!!! Madonna themed it around ancient Anthony & Cleopatra, Kylie an imaginary Grecian Goddess Aphrodite... wrong times and wrong eras!!!! Just because she got carried in by a legion of Roman soldiers HOW is that anything like Kylies Aphrodite tour???

Irrespective of this patronising history lesson, I also agree with Gina that there were similarities with Les Folies tour, visually anyway.
The performance was ace, regardless.
Love Madonna; love Kylie! No axe to grind on my part...!

"Get over yourself Minogue fans, you are scraping the barrel of desperation when in reality Kylie has been stealing from Madonna for decades.

And Madonna fans can be just as precious, as this shows...!
As it goes, I like Madonna, Kylie and GaGa!

Just because she got carried in by a legion of Roman soldiers HOW is that anything like Kylies Aphrodite tour??? Madonna got carried on to the set of Vogue in 1990... It was just amazing! Wonderful!
But I reckon Kylie must be very honoured to see just how much her Les Folies Tour influenced M... ;-)

It was amazing! But I was it just me or was not everything live? Like parts of music and all of Give Me All Your Luvin.. I don't understand the hype on YouTube about the 'tumble'. She put up a great performance, but all you will find on YouTube are fragments of her 'fall'.

I felt like I've died and gone to heaven for 15 mins and then had to come back to Earth!!!! LUV Madonna! YOU You Wanna!!

So proud of our girl!
And to all the lip-sync comments ... hello, it's a football stadium. I mean c'mon she didn't even try to disguise 'Gimme all your luvin' - no one cares!

Superb as usual!

Pretty lame how comments get deleted if anyone thinks differently....I guess no one can have a valid opinion or speak their mind?

It was hard for me to ignore all the symbolism going on there...ILLUMINATI...believe it or not, it was definitely present there!

The new single is all the way up to # 3 on iTunes right now!

I still can't get to bed coz I'm still so worked up from that performance. Roll on new album and tour. I'm totally psyched now.

She knocked it out of the park! What an entrance!!!! Love the knife-blades-rubbing-together sound in "Vogue" to punctuate and sharpen each shift in choreography. "Gimme All Your Luvin" has zoomed up iTunes in the US. It was at #12 before the show and is now at #4! Those acrobatics on the bleachers for "Music" -- WOW!!!
