John, while I partly agree with you, I'm sure M liked the extra ruffles to disguise her arms a bit. She's more then aware that she gets highly criticized about her veiny arms and hands and she's probably developed a heavy complex about it hence the layers. Regardless I think she looks quite stunning and that hair style gives the whole look a bit of old Hollywood glamour.

If I was Madonna's friend (or stylist) I would have ripped off the organza from that dress and she would have looks fantasic, the dress and lower part of it show her figure to its best! but then it is hidden uner lots and lots of ruffles and net :o(

I love her hairdo! She looks stunning in the dress too. The outfits she's been donning the past few months have been some of the best she's ever worn, I think.
