Live from Roseland
Next an acoustic version of Miles Away was performed.
Then Justin Timberlake joined Madonna onstage for a great version of 4 Minutes.
Then followed Madonna on electric guitar (playing a little bit of I Can't Get No Satisfaction) as a warm-up for a rocked-up version of Hung Up.
Pharrell 'joined' Madonna onstage via video screens for Give It 2 Me next.
The evening was rounded up by a great new mix of Music.
Check back later this evening for more reports and pictures from Roseland!

Ok. I've always and forever will be a Madonna fan but that doesn't mean I like EVERYTHING she's ever done. This album seems rather vapid to me or maybe I'm just getting too old to enjoy it? Also the throne at the concert seemed way too egotistical for the new Madonna. She wouldn't have used that in the old days. Remember the cabaret style chairs? The props and what not just don't do it for me.
Also, did anyone notice the screw up during Hung Up? Apparently the backing vocals started too early during one point. She looks back over her shoulder at her band and just catches up to the beat. Rewatch it and you will see what I mean.

OK, the msn concert is up and running now. I watched on Firefox and it was fine.
BTW, it's the first time I see Madonna get distracted on a song. I thought the world was over, haha. But the rendition of Hung Up is spectacular, and it could do away with the ABBA sample and still be great. But she did look pissed when she missed her cue!

I guess i was somewhat lucky at getting to catch the show on MSN. The original live broadcast was continuously interupted with "loading" problems. But after the first broadcast it streamed fine.
I thought the show was good. I'm still not 100% sold on the album so the setlist didn't quit excite me in any way. Those who were actually there probably thought it was exciting. She seemed to rely on backing vocals heavily which could be understandable since the show had some heavy dance routines.
However, "Hung Up" was just flat out ghastly! Vocally she seem unsteady and the guitar/ electronic mix didn't sound good at all. I wouldn't be surprised if that song is taken out for the remainder of the promo shows. Besides, she said she wanted to go back in time and that song is just one album old. How about an acoustic version of "Borderline" or some other older hit. I guess we'll have to wait and see what surprises she has up her sleeve.

>msn just kept saying "not available" forever.
For those who couldn't see the show: it was because you didn't use Internet Explorer, not because the feed was not available. The error message was not very good you see to tell you what was wrong. The problem was IE.

Madonna brought back the electricy, the excitement, and the sexy that New York has lacked in past months and years. There was a very high level of sexiness in the air this evening. Maybe this was the first night of summer. I was just so blessed to be under the same roof as someone so sexy and amazing. The woman was so gorgeous and fit tonight. She had so much energy. Her songs are unbelievable live.

Yeah,I would have LOVED to see it...but the MSN feed is STILL down. It looks like a great show and I hope one day I will be able to see it. Thanks again,MSN. It is almost one am and the site still has no video for it. I am amazed that anyone that wasn't there has been able to see it.

Absolute perfection! Madonna sounded amazing, looked fierce, and kicked our ass tonight! Candy Shop was booming through Roseland and the staging on 4 Minutes w/ JT was so imaginative. But, Give It To Me absolutely brought the house down! Everyone was jumping, sweating, and screaming their way through the song. Madonna looked like she was genuinely having a great time on stage. This concert was sick and I can't wait for the full tour!!

Thanks for the photo uploads of Roseland concert. Many of us are disappointed that we were not and still not able to view the Live feed of her performance. Boo hoo.

The entire show was great! Especially that rendition of Hung Up was amazing! I never liked Candy Shop or Miles Away until I saw them live...I guess that's the power of Madonna live.

I love Madonna BUT I was not all that impressed with the show. The "F" word has always been her most-used word, hasn't it?!
